Cow pregnancy due date calculator

Enter the artificial insemination or natural-service date. The calculator uses the same ~280-day dairy cow gestation DairyLogs uses for breeding records, then shows days remaining until the expected calving date.

How this calculator works

Dairy cow gestation averages about 280 days — roughly nine months. Breed, calf sex, twins, and the individual cow can move the real calving date by several days. Treat the result as a planning window, not an appointment.

Days remaining counts from today to that expected date. If the date has passed, the calculator shows how many days she is overdue so you keep watching instead of assuming the date was wrong.

A pregnancy diagnosis reminder is placed at 45 days after service. A dry-off reminder sits 60 days before the due date — a common target dry period. Your veterinarian may set different PD and dry-off timing for your herd.

Keep due dates on the animal

Log AI, pregnancy checks, and calving in DairyLogs so every cow has a due date the whole team can see — not a note on one phone.
