Calving date calculator
Enter the AI or service date. You get the expected calving date and a practical countdown: 30 days, 14 days, and 7 days before, then the due day itself.
How this calculator works
The due date uses a 280-day gestation from the service date — the same planning length as the pregnancy due date calculator. The extra value here is the close-up calendar, not a different biology.
Thirty days before is when many farms move cows to a close-up group and review the dry-cow ration. Fourteen days is kit, pen, and colostrum. Seven days is daily watch. The due day is the centre of a window, not a single hour.
Heifers and cows with a difficult previous calving belong on a tighter watch list. Record the birth, calf ID, and colostrum the same day so the fresh-cow period starts with facts.

Run calving from a due list
DairyLogs shows expected calvings, then lets you record the calf, colostrum, and fresh-cow checks on the same animal the night she calves.
