Terms & Conditions
Last updated · August 17, 2026
These terms govern your access to and use of DairyLogs. By creating an account, accessing the site, or using the service, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use DairyLogs.
1. Agreement
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) are a binding agreement between you and DairyLogs (“we”, “us”, “our”) for use of dairylogs.com, the DairyLogs application, public farm tools, and related services (the “Service”). If you use the Service on behalf of a farm, company, or other organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity, and “you” includes that entity.
You also agree to our Privacy Policy, which explains how we process information. Together these documents are the entire agreement about the Service, unless we sign a separate written contract with you (for example a Custom plan).
2. The Service
DairyLogs provides software to help dairy farms record and review milk production, herd, breeding, feed, inventory, health, finance, and related operations. We may add, change, or remove features. We may offer public educational tools (including calculators) that do not require an account.
DairyLogs is a record-keeping and operations tool only. It is not a veterinarian, nutritionist, accountant, lawyer, insurer, or government livestock registry. Outputs, alerts, reports, and public calculators are aids. You remain solely responsible for animal care, feeding, medicine withdrawal, milk sales, tax, and every other farm decision.
3. Eligibility and accounts
- You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a contract.
- You must provide accurate registration information and keep it current.
- You are responsible for all activity under your login, including activity by people you allow to use it. Notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.
- Farm owners and admins control invitations, roles, and who can see or change farm data. We are not obliged to referee internal farm disputes about access.
- We may refuse, suspend, or terminate accounts that appear inaccurate, compromised, abusive, unpaid where a paid plan is required, or otherwise in violation of these Terms.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
- Access, copy, or change data you are not authorized to handle, including another farm’s workspace.
- Probe, scan, overload, disrupt, or reverse engineer the Service except to the limited extent applicable law cannot be waived.
- Upload malware or content that infringes others’ rights.
- Use the Service to store or transmit content that is defamatory, fraudulent, or that we reasonably believe creates legal or safety risk.
- Resell, white-label, scrape, or provide the Service to third parties as your own product without our written agreement.
- Circumvent plan limits (including animal or farm caps) or security controls.
5. Your data — ownership and license
You retain ownership of the farm and operational data you submit (“Your Data”). You grant DairyLogs a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, copy, process, transmit, display, back up, and otherwise use Your Data solely to provide, secure, and improve the Service, to communicate with you, and as described in the Privacy Policy.
You represent that you have all rights needed to submit Your Data and to grant this license, including any personal data about workers, customers, or technicians that you choose to enter.
6. Accuracy, backups, and loss of data
You are solely responsible for the completeness, accuracy, and lawfulness of Your Data, and for decisions you make using it. Incorrect milk, health, breeding, feed, or finance entries can cause real farm loss; we do not verify your entries.
You must keep independent copies of records that matter to your business. DairyLogs is not a guaranteed archive, disaster-recovery product, or official livestock register. We may make internal backups for our operations. We do not promise that any backup will be complete, current, or restorable for you on request.
Without limiting the disclaimers below, you agree that DairyLogs is not liable for any loss, corruption, delay, unauthorized disclosure, or inability to recover Your Data, including where caused by:
- Your or a teammate’s deletion, overwrite, or mis-entry.
- A farm owner or admin changing permissions or removing a member.
- Lost, shared, or weak passwords or unattended devices.
- Hardware failure, software defects, maintenance, or interruption of the Service or of our infrastructure providers.
- Force majeure events described below.
- Termination or expiration of your account or a farm workspace.
- Your failure to export or copy records before closing an account.
If data is lost or the Service is unavailable, your exclusive remedies are those expressly stated in these Terms (if any). We have no obligation to reconstruct records from memory, paper, or third-party systems.
7. Educational tools and content
Guides, FAQs, blog posts, and public calculators (including the cow feed calculator) are general educational material. They are not veterinary, nutritional, medical, or legal advice and are not a prescription for any animal or farm. Rations, disease notes, and similar content can be wrong for your animals, forage, climate, or local rules. Confirm with a qualified professional and current product labels before you act. Use of those tools is at your own risk.
8. Plans, limits, and payments
We may offer free and paid plans with limits (for example number of animals or farms). Plan details on the site are invitations to treat, not a standing offer. We may change prices or limits for future periods with notice posted on the site or sent to you.
Paid access may be arranged manually, including via WhatsApp. You authorize us to activate, change, or cancel a plan based on that conversation and our records. Fees are generally non-refundable except where applicable law requires otherwise. If a payment is reversed or not completed, we may downgrade or suspend paid features.
WhatsApp and other messaging or payment channels are third-party services. Their terms apply to your use of those channels. We are not those providers and are not responsible for their outages, policies, or data handling.
9. Availability and changes
We aim for reliable access but do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or timely Service. There is no service-level agreement unless we sign one in writing. Maintenance, defects, capacity limits, or provider outages may occur without notice.
We may modify or discontinue features. If a change materially reduces a paid plan you already paid for, we will give reasonable notice when practical. Continued use after a change is acceptance of the modified Service.
10. Intellectual property
DairyLogs, the site, software, trademarks, logos, and documentation are owned by us or our licensors. Except for the limited right to use the Service under these Terms, no license is granted. You may not copy, frame, or create derivative works of the Service except as we allow in writing.
11. Feedback
If you send ideas or suggestions, we may use them without restriction or compensation. You waive claims that we must treat feedback as confidential.
12. Third-party services
The Service may link to or rely on third parties (hosting, email, messaging, maps, fonts, or similar). We are not responsible for their content, availability, or practices. Your use of them is at your own risk.
13. Suspension and termination
You may stop using DairyLogs at any time. We may suspend or terminate access immediately if you breach these Terms, if required for security or law, if a paid plan lapses, or if we discontinue the Service.
On termination we may delete or de-identify Your Data in the ordinary course of operations, subject to the Privacy Policy. We have no obligation to retain Your Data after termination. Export anything you need before you close the account or before we suspend it.
Sections that by nature should survive (including ownership, data-loss allocations, acceptable use, disclaimers, limitations, indemnity, and governing law) survive termination.
14. Disclaimer of warranties
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE”, WITH ALL FAULTS. WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, QUIET ENJOYMENT, ACCURACY, COMPLETENESS, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE OR YOUR DATA WILL BE SECURE, CONTINUOUS, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE FROM LOSS OR CORRUPTION, OR THAT DEFECTS WILL BE CORRECTED.
No result, alert, report, or calculator output is a professional opinion. No oral or written information from our team creates a warranty not expressly stated in these Terms.
15. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, DAIRYLOGS AND ITS OWNERS, OPERATORS, EMPLOYEES, AND SUPPLIERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, LOST REVENUE, LOST MILK PREMIUMS, LOST OR INJURED LIVESTOCK, LOST GOODWILL, BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, OR LOST, CORRUPTED, OR DELAYED DATA, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE OR THESE TERMS, WHETHER BASED ON CONTRACT, TORT (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE), STRICT LIABILITY, OR ANY OTHER THEORY, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE OR THESE TERMS IN ANY TWELVE-MONTH PERIOD WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICE IN THAT PERIOD. IF YOU USE ONLY A FREE PLAN OR HAVE PAID NOTHING IN THAT PERIOD, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY WILL NOT EXCEED USD 100.
These limits are a fundamental allocation of risk. The Service would not be offered on a free or low-cost basis without them. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions; in that case our liability is limited to the maximum extent that jurisdiction allows.
16. Indemnity
You will defend, indemnify, and hold harmless DairyLogs and its owners, operators, and employees from claims, damages, losses, and reasonable costs (including legal fees) arising out of: (a) Your Data; (b) your use of the Service, including farm decisions made with it; (c) your breach of these Terms; or (d) your violation of law or of a third party’s rights. We may assume exclusive defense at your expense; you will cooperate.
17. Force majeure
We are not liable for delay or failure caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disaster, epidemic, war, riot, labor dispute, power or internet failure, government action, or failure of hosting, telecommunications, or other providers.
18. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Subject to any non-waivable consumer protections, the courts of Pakistan have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising from these Terms or the Service. You agree to attempt to resolve disputes informally by contacting hello@dairylogs.com before filing a claim, except where urgent injunctive relief is needed.
19. General
- If a provision is held unenforceable, the rest remains in effect and the provision is modified to the minimum extent needed to make it enforceable.
- Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. Waivers must be in writing.
- You may not assign these Terms without our consent. We may assign them in connection with a reorganization or sale of the Service.
- These Terms do not create a partnership, employment, or agency relationship.
- Notices to you may be posted in the Service or sent to your account email. Notices to us must go to hello@dairylogs.com or the contact page.
20. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms by posting a revised version on this page and updating the “Last updated” date. If a change is material, we will try to give additional notice (for example in the product or by email). Continued use after the effective date is acceptance. If you do not agree, you must stop using the Service and may request account closure.
